What features does the Mobile App have?

Our mobile app is packed full of features - just like internet banking, you have access to a range of services, including an easy-to-use, more streamlined approach to viewing your balance, making a transfer, managing your cards or paying bills.

Once you register your device, logging in is as easy as entering a four digit PIN. 

The new app is available for both iOS devices and Android devices and can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play store.

What about my data privacy?

Your data safety is important to us. If you delete your mobile app, you can elect to remove your data from our system completely after you've uninstalled your app.

What is mobile banking and what services are available within mobile banking?

Mobile banking is an internet-based service incorporated within the mobile banking app that allows you to do your banking safely and conveniently with your internet capable mobile devices. Via your mobile device, you can view your account balances, look up transactions, pay your bills to saved billers, transfer funds to saved payees, view and work with multiple memberships and change your email address.

What if I am travelling overseas?

Your mobile banking app may not work when you are travelling overseas. 

If you need to do any Internet Banking or the Mobile App while overseas, for example to transfer funds, you will need to register for a VIP token before leaving the country. To do this you will need to download Symantec VIP Access App.

Can I use my mobile app overseas?

Your mobile banking app may not work when you are travelling overseas. 

If you need to do any Internet Banking while overseas, for example to transfer funds, you will need to register for a VIP token before leaving the country. To do this you will need to download Symantec VIP Access App.

As you may not be able to access your messages sent to your Australia number while travelling internationally, this App will generate a code that will replace the SMS codes during your trip as you will not be able to use the SMS codes overseas. Once you download and install the App your 2-factor identification will change from SMS codes to VIP Access.

Please follow the steps below to register for a token prior to leaving the country.

  1. Download the Symantec VIP Access App
  2. Log into Internet Banking through our webpage, not our Mobile App
  3. Select the Settings button
  4. Select Register Token
  5. Enter your Credential ID in step 1  (Your credential ID is the number above the circle in your VIP Access app)
  6. Enter the Security code in step 3  (The security code is the number in the middle of the circle that changes every 30 seconds).
  7. Wait 30 seconds and enter a new Security code in step 5.
  8. Agree to the Terms and Conditions
  9. Click Register.

**Please note that if you have already left the country, please download the Symantec VIP Access and then call the Contact Centre on +61 7 4412 3526 to be given a code to register this token to your Internet Banking.
