Health Insurance Benefits

As well as offering a healthy discount off of health insurance premiums through Queensland Country Health Fund, we waive the usual two month waiting periods on Extras for our staff to start accessing their cover straight away. We also offer our Staff a reimbursement of up to $250 towards their Queensland Country Health Fund hospital excess.

Wellness Program

Parental Leave

Our staff are eligible to eight weeks paid parental leave for the primary care giver and two weeks paid parental leave for the secondary care giver, to help you settle in to life with your new child.

Workplace Gender Equality Agency (WGEA) annual report and compliance 2022/23

Each year, Queensland Country submits an annual report to WGEA, the government agency charged with promoting and improving gender equality in Australian workforces and helping organisations comply with their reporting requirements under the Workplace Gender Equity Act 2012.  We are proud to have received the WGEA citation award nine times and continue to meet compliance obligations each year.
