We’re a Member‑owned bank with a clear purpose: helping Queenslanders live better lives through better financial wellbeing.
Our story began in Mount Isa in 1971, built on true country spirit and a desire to give local people access to fair, reliable banking. What started as a small credit union for mine employees has grown alongside the communities we serve, expanding across Queensland and welcoming new Members along the way.
Today, we support more than 100,000 Members with a full range of banking and insurance services – through our branch network, digital banking options and Queensland‑based contact centre. While we’ve grown and evolved into a Member‑owned bank, we’ve kept the best parts of who we are: being genuine, putting Members first and giving back to the communities that support us.
For us, “country” is a way of thinking. It means being honest, down‑to‑earth and committed to building strong relationships. As a Member, you’re at the centre of everything we do – and our goal is to keep earning your trust as Queensland’s best regional bank.
Our people are at the centre of everything we do. From our branch staff to our back-office admin staff to our Executive leadership team – everyone has an equally important role to play.
