We recently celebrated the five-year anniversary of our Rockhampton Branch. We’ve witnessed five years of consistency, commitment, and genuine care from three incredible people who have been there since day one.

The fact that the original Rockhampton team is still together five years after the doors first opened in 2020 is something quite rare, and something we are extremely proud of. Branch Manager Jodie Hare, and Personal Banking Consultants Kerry Draper and Jodie Randall, have built true community hub through the Rockhampton Branch.

Leading from the front

Kerry Draper and Jodie Randall, our outstanding Personal Banking Consultant (PBC) duo, are the driving force of the Rockhampton Branch. While they don’t seek the spotlight, their contributions are felt by every Member who walks through the door, and they absolutely deserve recognition for their unwavering dedication.

Their member-focused approach is at the core of the experience our Members receive. With a warm and welcoming manner, they make banking feel less like a transaction and more like a conversation with a trusted friend. Their meticulous attention to detail ensures that every interaction is handled with care. It’s no surprise that they consistently receive praise and positive feedback, which they humbly brush off as “just part of the job.”

The heartbeat of the branch

Our Branch Manager, Jodie Hare, is the heart of the Rockhampton team. She works tirelessly to support her team, our Members, and the broader organisation. Her leadership is defined by a genuine care for her staff and the community, which has shaped the positive and supportive culture of the branch.

Jodie leads with empathy, strength, and passion. She is the first to celebrate her team’s professional and personal wins and provides a steady hand to guide them through any challenge. This dedication has not only fostered a close-knit team but has also created a workplace where everyone feels empowered to bring their best. Her leadership is a shining example of our commitment to putting people first.

Commitment to community

Our commitment to Rockhampton goes beyond the branch. We’re proud to have recently supported Scottvale Park Squash League Incorporated, a not-for-profit making a difference in the region, through a Good For Good Community Grant aimed at helping fund vital facility maintenance and technology upgrades. This investment is just one example of our ongoing dedication to the local community groups.

Staying connected and involved with our communities remains at the heart of what we do. In October 2025, Queensland Country Bank’s Board held their meeting in Rockhampton, reinforcing our commitment to regional Queensland and making sure our leadership stays engaged with the people and places we serve.

Our doors are open

In a time when face-to-face banking is becoming less common, especially in regional areas where branches are closing more frequently, we understand how important it is to maintain a personal connection. Our Rockhampton team is proud to offer genuine, face-to-face service and local knowledge. We encourage you to reach out to your local branch and experience the difference for yourself.
