What is the Queensland Country Bank mobile app?

The Queensland Country Bank mobile app is how Members can access their accounts from their mobile device (provided you have an internet connection) and is available on both Apple iOS and Android devices.

What features does the Mobile App have?

You can use the Queensland Country Bank mobile app for managing your money without needing to call us or attend a branch - much like our Internet Banking service.

With our Mobile App you can:

  • Check your account balances
  • Transfer funds, make payments and pay bills.
  • Access and edit the card controls for your Visa Debit or Credit card.
  • Nominate to switch to e-statements and download copies of past statements by registering for e-statements.
  • Access your SmartBudget account and pay your nominated bills.
  • And much more!

Once you register your device, logging in is as easy as entering a four-digit PIN or using biometric validation (if you choose to have this set up)

What about my data privacy?

Your data safety is important to us. If you delete the Queensland Country Bank mobile app, you can elect to remove your data from our system completely after you've uninstalled your app.

Can I use my mobile app overseas?

Your mobile app may not work when you are travelling overseas. 

If you do need access to Internet Banking while overseas, for example to transfer funds, you will need to register for a VIP token before leaving the country. To do this you will need to download Symantec VIP Access App.

As you may not be able to access your messages sent to your Australia number while travelling internationally, this App will generate a code that will replace the SMS codes during your trip as you will not be able to use the SMS codes overseas. Once you download and install the App your 2-factor identification will change from SMS codes to VIP Access.

Please follow the steps below to register for a token prior to leaving the country.

  1. Download the Symantec VIP Access App
  2. Log into Internet Banking through our webpage, not our Mobile App
  3. Select the Settings button
  4. Select Register Token
  5. Enter your Credential ID in step 1  (Your credential ID is the number above the circle in your VIP Access app)
  6. Enter the Security code in step 3  (The security code is the number in the middle of the circle that changes every 30 seconds).
  7. Wait 30 seconds and enter a new Security code in step 5.
  8. Agree to the Terms and Conditions
  9. Click Register.

**Please note that if you have already left the country, please download the Symantec VIP Access and then call the Contact Centre on +61 7 4412 3526 to be given a code to register this token to your Internet Banking.

What is BPAY® and is it something that Queensland Country Bank facilitates?

BPAY® is a widely used Australian electronic bill payment system that allows you to pay your bills securely directly from your bank account.

It operates using a unique Biller Code and Customer Reference Number (CRN), which you’ll find on your bill or invoice.

We offer BPAY® as a payment option to support your bill-paying requirements.

How can I make payments using BPAY®?

We offer several options to pay your bills using BPAY®:

Mobile App or Internet Banking:

You can make BPAY® payments through the Queensland Country Bank Mobile App or Internet Banking using the ‘Pay’ option.

In branch:

You can visit your local branch with a copy of your bill and we’ll process the BPAY® payment on your behalf.

Over the phone via our Contact Centre:

You can call our Contact Centre on 1800 075 078 and we’ll assist you with your BPAY® payment.
