There's a few added steps to complete before you board the plane.

As you may not be able to receive SMS' from your Australian number when travelling, you will need to register for a VIP token before leaving the country. To do this you will need to download Symantec VIP Access App.

Once you download and install the VIP Access App, you can change your 2-factor identification settinge from SMS codes to VIP Access.

Additionally, depending where you travel to, your Mobile App may encounter some security restrictions whilst overseas. If this is the case, we recommend using Internet Banking for completing transfers.

If you're planning to use your Queensland Country Bank Visa debit or credit card whilst overseas then you need to let us know where your travelling to and for how long.

Queensland Country monitors your transactions to protect you against fraud on your account. If your card is used in an unexpected location, we may put a temporary block on access to your account until we can contact you to confirm the transaction is genuine.

You can inform us of your travel plans through Secure Mail in Internet Banking, Overseas Travel in the Mobile App or by calling our Contact Centre on 1800 075 078.

If you need to replace your Cash Passport card, we recommend contacting Mastercard Card Services directly on 1800 098 231 and they’ll arrange a replacement for you.

Any positive balances will be transferred to the new card.

Please note, it can take up to 15 days for your replacement card to arrive.
