We are excited to share that Queensland Country Bank has been recognised as one of Australia's Best Workplaces by Great Place to Work®, acknowledging our ongoing commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive and high-performing workplace culture.
Queensland Country Bank was also the only bank recognised on the list, cementing its position as a standout workplace in the financial services sector.
The achievement builds on our fourth consecutive Great Place to Work® Certification, as well as an inclusion on Australia's Best Workplaces™ in Finance & Insurance 2026 list earlier this year.
Queensland Country Bank Chief People Officer Katherine Brennan said the recognition reflected the bank's strong values-led culture.
"What makes this recognition particularly special is that our own people have had such a significant voice in it. You can write values on a wall, but ultimately your people will tell you whether they experience them every day."
"For our team to tell us they feel supported, connected and empowered is something we're incredibly proud of," Ms Brennan said.
That sentiment is reflected by team members across the organisation, including Townsville Area Manager, Amy Hawkins, who said the culture had been evident from the beginning of her career.
"I started working at Queensland Country Bank almost 18 years ago, and one of the first things I noticed was the number of team members with long tenure and how positively they spoke about working here," Ms Hawkins said.
