Two people sit on the couch holding a large orange circular sign reading “Good for Good – Queensland Country Community Grants,” while two people stand on either side. A wall behind displays a “Couch Wellness Centre” sign and framed photos.

Tips for your Application

Our Good for Good Applications are opening on 1 July! Make sure you’re ready to submit by reviewing our top tips below:

  • Read through our guidelines and terms and conditions to check your eligibility and ensure you meet the conditions for the program.

If you're still unsure about your organisation's eligibility, we encourage you to submit your application. All submitted applications will be reviewed.

  • Refer to key dates in the guidelines document to make sure your project will be completed within the timeframe outlined.
  • Review our Application Guide and begin drafting your responses. This will make it easier to submit when applications open on 1 July.

We strongly recommend preparing and saving your responses in a word document. When applications open, you can simply copy and paste into the relevant sections of the application.
Once you start the online application, you will NOT be able to save and return to the application at a later date, you will need to start again.

  • Support your project costs. Save any supplier or trades quotes for the required work to be completed to support your project costs. You may be asked to provide supporting documents after your application is received.
  • Source and save key documents. After your application is received, you may be asked to provide a copy of your constitution or replaceable/model rules to substantiate your groups not-for-profit status.
  • Get in touch with your local branch manager if you have any questions about the program.
